Prior to founding Evans & Associates in 2003, Jeff was Director of Taxation for a regional CPA firm headquartered in Orange County, California. His prior experience includes working for over ten years for Big Four and regional CPA firms including Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche. Jeff started his accounting career in the international tax department of KPMG, a big Four CPA firm.
His industry experience includes real estate, high tech, manufacturing/distribution, retail, professional service firms and wholesale.
Jeff is a graduate of California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accountancy).
He also earned a Master of Science in Accountancy (Taxation) from San Diego State University where he taught accounting for two years.
Jeff lives in Trabuco Highlands and enjoys spending time with his wife and son. His hobbies include mountain biking, hiking, swimming, sailing and flying Cessnas.
